Note, the color shift and what appears to be a lack of detail in the sky is only washed out in the photograph - no paint or detail was lost in treatment. Our color photography has difficulty capturing the range of hues, detail, and contrast in the painting and the contrasts are even more dramatic after cleaning, making accurate photograph after treatment even more difficult.
