Brianna was born and raised in Arizona and as she grew up her love for art and culture grew with her. She attended the University of Arizona where she graduated cum laude with a BFA in studio arts and minor in chemistry. Brianna creates her own works of art and is especially interested in the conservation of paintings. During her undergraduate career, she was able to intern for a private paper and paintings conservator part-time. She then spent eight months in Florence, Italy attending Studio Arts College International (SACI). At SACI she completed the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Art Conservation where she studied the conservation of canvas paintings, archaeological objects, and murals. She is now an Advanced Paintings Conservation Intern at West Lake Conservators. In the future, she hopes to continue to advance her career and the field of art conservation through further training and research at a North American graduate program in conservation.
